Ruins of this Historic Mill haunted

Clopper Mill, a grist and saw mill, originally built in the late 18th century, the was torn down and rebuilt by Zachariah Maccubbin sometime after 1784. The estate was purchased in 1812 by Frances Clopper, who built a 24-room mansion where the current park office is located. The location of the old mill is claimed to be haunted.

Drummer boy apparition seen and heard from afar

The Old Berkeley Cemetery is haunted by a small drummer boy. The boy is seen on the hilltop. People have heard the sounds of his drum beating. No one has spotted his apparition up close, however.
