Brandywine Creek Battle

Charlie Miller is still searching for his head. Miller was a colonist who was decapitated by a British cannon. His headless ghost followed his comrades to Chadds Ford, where it happened upon two British snipers who were preparing to snipe George Washington (there commanding troops battling British General Howe, Sep 11, 1777).

Old Episcopalian church ruins, still eerie

Near the top of the West Virginia mountain in Harper's Ferry stands the shale and stone ruins of a colonial-era Episcopalian church. Standing in what was once the inside of the church gives an enormously creepy feeling, even in pounding bright sunlight.
