To clear his name

Dan Starrett was asleep in his mobile home in Reedsville, on April 17, 1973. He awoke because his bed was shaking around about 3 a.m. in the morning. He saw a man standing at the end of the hall. The man was dressed in a black vest, a badge, and felt hat. Starett recognized the man was dressed in a railroad police officer uniform. The man had the same type of built that Starrett had. The man was stout with broad-shouldered. As he watch the man the man disappeared in front of his face.

Several ghosts reportedly haunt this place. A woman and young child can be seen in the basement, along with a man wearing Revolutionary War type clothing. By an employee's account, a ghost hunter asked to spend the night alone there once. In the morning, the owner returned to find the ghost hunter's equipment, but the ghost hunter was never seen afterwards. Believed to be haunted by a ghost named Charlie who likes to bother people working in the kitchen by dropping utensils and moving things around.

This building was built in the 1700's and was once used as an opera house. This building is haunted by a piano that can sometimes be heard playing though no person is present. The sounds of footsteps are also heard in this building; some people have repoirted a feeling of being watched.
