This story sounds strangely similar to the Mothman of Ohio. Sightings of a "witch ghost" in the cemetery; puts flowers on childrens' graves. Sightings have been reported of a "witch ghost" who, late at night, glides through the cemetery putting flowers on childrens' graves. At least two ghosts haunts these halls. The college was chartered 1830. It opened 1832 in Boydton, Virginia and it moved in 1868.
The college was named after John Randolph and Nathaniel Macon. The school was originally for men and it became coeducational in 1971.
The college is known to be haunted. The Mary Branch girl's dormitory (of course!) has had many paranormal occurrences. The doors open and close by themselves. Students have had problems with items disappearing and reappearing.
