This building, used during the Civil War, is where the soldiers came to collect their pension. The old building is thought to be haunted by ghostly soldiers. Soldiers have been seen arriving "mounted, on horseback" to the building. The building's designer, Montgomery Meigs, also haunts the building. His face has been seen at the top of the marble columns in the building's great hall. This is the Park Hyatt Hotel in Philadelphia off of Broad and Walnut St. One time I was staying there for the weekend. One evening I was about ready to go to sleep when suddenly I felt an intense pressure on top of me; allowing me not to breathe or move. It lasted for about a minute and my girlfriend experienced the same thing. I have taken pictures of the room to find any orbs but didnt see any. I will post the pictures in a few. The hotel has that very gothic feel to it..
