Beware the Watcher in the Tower This is the old Pentecostal Church, down by the Patapsco River, across from the Daniels Mill in old Alberton, Maryland. It is most often called The Bad Church. Some have reported sensing a "watchful presence" in the bell tower. Two ghosts haunt this firehouse. One ghost has been seen in the engineer's room. This ghost appears to be evil. He appears as a shadow in the doorway. He has been seen in the hallway going to the engineer's room. At least two ghosts haunts these halls. The college was chartered 1830. It opened 1832 in Boydton, Virginia and it moved in 1868.
The college was named after John Randolph and Nathaniel Macon. The school was originally for men and it became coeducational in 1971.
The college is known to be haunted. The Mary Branch girl's dormitory (of course!) has had many paranormal occurrences. The doors open and close by themselves.
