Howard Chapel Rd bridge over the Patuxent River

There is a family cemetery located 1/4 from the bridge along Howard Chapel Rd at Elton Farm Rd. Used between 1892-1939, about 18 grave sites are there. By the dates on the tombstones, there are lots of young people burried there. I have heard by several people that have seen things near the bridge down the road. There are no houses around & very little traffic. I was there last night doing a training drill & had a feeling of being watched the whole time. It's very very dark there at night. There is a parking area next to the bridge.

Cleaning crew has reported feeling presences at night and seeing lockers opening and shutting on their own.

Lights, sounds, actions!

The house was built in 1805 near Point Lookout State Park. The house sit directly across the street from the Confederate Prisoners Monument that marks the mass burial place of several thousand Confederate soldiers. Guests and employees of this bed-and-breakfast have seen ghostly apparitions in the house and walking on the property. Employees hear strange noises in the house that they cannot figure out. The owners have had problems with things disappearing and reappearing. Lights turn on by themselves in the master bedroom in the middle of the night.
