Abandoned and said to have no electrical power to it, Plumley still welcomes visitors with a porch light that is said to be always lit in some fashion or another. Haunted by a woman in white who was murdered by her husband, as well as a man who committed suicide in an upstairs closet, blood can still be seen in the basement by those unwitting enough to venture inside. Previously used in several fraternity hazing rituals, one pledge died after breaking through rotted floorboards and being impaled on apparatus in the basement.

Two Antietam two park rangers were doing their nightly rounds and they were horrified by a blue translucent figure in the open doorway of Otto House. The ghostly figure looked like a Southern belle ghost in a hoop skirt standing in doorway of the house looking toward town. This house stands on a knoll along the Burnside Bridge Road and it overlooks the Sherrick Farm. This house was used as a hospital after the Battle of Antietam; the rangers became frightened and ran until they reached the Burnside Bridge. They stopped and spoke about what they had just seen and both describe the same thing, what they saw was identical. The ghostly Southern belle is often seen by rangers and visitors.

A century old building has its secrets

The Cabana Restaurant resides in a century-old building. The restaurant is reportedly haunted by "a ghostly spirit who hung herself on a third-floor landing" in the early 1900's. An apparition has been seen in the building.

Haunted prison in Mansfield, OH

The facility was built between 1886 and 1910. The Reformatory and remained in full operation until 1972. OSR is supposedly haunted with several paranormal "hotspots" such as the two chapels, the area around the warden's office, the infirmary and solitary confinement. Over 200 people died at the OSR, including a few guards who were killed during escape attempts.
