Ghostly dog appendages.

You wouldn't think it, but a ghostly dog is haunting The Grey Fox Inn.

Edward Hand served his country during the Revolution, then he built this home in 1794. Washington visited him there. Haunted by members of the Hand family.

The heavy word.

The Nazarence Church is haunted and it is now boarded up and the entire parish has long since vanished. The story goes that there is a heavy bible seating on the pulpit. Many people have gone in and tried to remove the bible and have not been able to remove it. If a person lift the bible off the pulpit and starts walking toward the door the bible gets heaver and heaver and the person carrying it drops it. Some people have brought crowbar to no avail. The church was moved to Furnacetown where a smelting furnace operated in 1850 smelting iron. A little way down the road is the graveyard where the church once stood. Apparitions

Two girls were raped than murdered within the area of Honeysuckle Lane. An elderly man was in a deadly accident near by where the two girls were killed. People say that they sometimes see all three ghosts cross the road but these usually occur at different times. People have also seen a strange bright light that moves through the woods near the road.
